Незалежність — це не лише дата. Це пульс нашого серця, що б’ється в унісон із ритмом країни. Це щемливий біль втрат і водночас гордість, яка підносить вище за страх. Це ціна, яку ми платимо щодня — і яка робить нас справжніми.

Сьогодні Незалежність України — це не лише про державні кордони. Це про внутрішню силу бути собою, не коритися і не зраджувати себе. Це про лідерство, яке кожен несе у своєму виборі: від захисника на фронті до підприємця, від вчительки в селі до волонтерки в тилу. Кожен із нас — тримає частинку цієї Незалежності.

Вона жіноча і мужня водночас. Ніжна, як молитва матері, і тверда, як криця воїна. Вона народжується у втомлених очах волонтерів і в дитячих малюнках про мир. Вона оживає у сміливих рішеннях, у подоланні стереотипів, у здатності бачити світло навіть серед руїн.

Незалежність — це наш кордон, який ми тримаємо не лише на карті, а й у власному серці. Бо коли сильні люди, сильна і держава. Бо коли ми свідомі, ніхто не зможе нас розділити.

Україна сьогодні — це приклад для світу. Приклад, що свобода варта боротьби. Що навіть посеред війни ми вміємо творити, розвивати, будувати нові смисли. Що навіть коли руйнують наші домівки — ми не дозволяємо зруйнувати наш дух.

Незалежність — це не подарунок, це наш вибір. І ми щоразу підтверджуємо його — мужністю, жертовністю, любов’ю до життя і до своєї землі.

34 Years of Ukraine’s Independence

Independence is not just a date.

It is the heartbeat of our nation, beating in unison with the rhythm of our land.

It is the aching pain of loss and, at the same time, the pride that lifts us above fear.

It is the price we pay every day — and the very essence that makes us who we are.

Today, Ukraine’s Independence is not only about state borders.

It is about the inner strength to remain true to ourselves, to refuse submission, and never betray who we are.

It is about leadership that each of us carries in our choices: from the defender at the frontline to the entrepreneur, from the teacher in a village school to the volunteer in the rear.

Each of us holds a piece of this Independence.

It is both feminine and masculine.

Gentle, like a mother’s prayer, and steadfast, like a warrior’s steel.

It is born in the weary eyes of volunteers and in children’s drawings of peace.

It comes alive in courageous decisions, in breaking stereotypes, in the ability to see light even amidst ruins.

Independence is our border — one we guard not only on the map, but within our hearts.

For when people are strong, the nation is strong.

And when we are conscious and united, no one can divide us.

Ukraine today is an example to the world.

An example that freedom is worth the fight.

That even in the midst of war, we create, we rebuild, we give birth to new meanings.

That even when our homes are destroyed, our spirit cannot be broken.

Independence is not a gift. It is our choice.

And we affirm this choice again and again — through courage, sacrifice, love for life, and love for our land.
